Volunteer with Jane's Walk

Help animate the streets and spaces of our HRM community by volunteering with Jane’s Walk! We rely on many hands to make the festival a safe, successful and accessible event!

Volunteer Roles include…

  • Festival Hosts: Our main role is for help during the festival (May 1-3). This includes representing Jane’s Walk at festival events, supporting the safety and accessibility of events, answering questions about the festival, ensuring walk leaders are supported and walks start on time, and otherwise helping things flow smoothly. You will receive training & all necessary materials!

  • Promotion & Poster Team: Help us spread the word about the festival by helping put up posters and do other promotion and communications work throughout April.

  • Outreach: Help with outreach to get more walk leaders and organizations on board throughout March/April.
